The Foundation Years Journal is a monthly publication that will deliver practical and
informative articles tailored to the needs of FY doctors.

Gynaecology and Obstetrics
Each FY issue will focus on two specialities and include articles on good clinical care,
acute care, good medical practise, case-based investigations and practical procedures.
The journal will closely follow the Foundation Years syllabus to provide the best educational
value for junior doctors.
All good clinical care and acute care articles will be accompanied by assessment
questions, giving junior
doctors the chance to gauge their learning. The answers will be published in the next
issue, but 123Doc will advance answers to clinical tutor subscribers so they can
engage their students in the learning process.
